I am calling this piece Abundance because on September 21st, when I released this kit, it was World Gratitude Day. I wanted to express how thankful I was for the land and the Earth. Steven and I are initially from New Mexico, which is known for its Sandia Mountains. I took advantage of the view when I lived there. Now that I live in Maryland, there are different landscapes to take in now, such as miles of beautiful trees, the harbor with boats and the water, and the sunrise is so breathtaking. I am grateful again for being able to experience all that this world has to offer.
Express emotion in art. Every art piece someone makes actual comes from a thought. A thought of what makes someone happy, what you could be grateful for, what touches the heart, a memory, or scenery. It's the basis of every artist, think of a song it's a story they convey, and a writer use experience or memory to form information. My niche for expressing emotion is by wood crafts, crocheting, or sewing.
The emotion you express can be anything.
Here are some reasons to express your emotions through art:
- It is healthy to express your feelings.
- Art is a safe way to express how you feel.
- You may not always have the words, so crafting is how to explain how you feel.
- After completing the art, you feel validation and acceptance.
- You can always go back and reflect.
Art can be very challenging for some; this is why Dreaming Crafts has options and kits for you to choose. We want to help you grow emotionally.
