I have designed a geometric wooden feather to go in hand with this blog post. For Native Americans, the eagle and the eagle feather are sacred to us. They are held in a very sacred space and honored with great care and respect. An eagle represents trust, strength, courage, power, and wisdom. An eagle can soar the highest amongst all birds within the Father Sky. The eagle carries prayers and messages from the Higher Spirit or Creator to us human beings on Mother Earth and vice versa. Now an eagle feather is still cared for with great respect and honor. Native Americans use the father within ceremonies, prayers, and healing. It is a direct way for us to communicate with the higher Spirit. We tell them our intentions for healing, prayers, protection, and anything that is weighing on our hearts at that moment.
During this period of my life, I was having difficulties understanding my reason for being put onto this Mother Earth. I had cried, prayed, crafted, and tried to listen to any signs of understanding and teachings to help pick my self up. I am starting to place some pieces together and try to live my best self. All I can do is keep pushing and trying out new things that make me happy. Each day I am creating something new, I love to craft its a way for me to meditate and reflect. I am allowed to crafts and design what speaks to me. If I make a mistake, that's fine. I learn to overcome and move on, and this is the same with life. When I craft, it allows me to create that inner flow of positive energy. Each time I create a piece I am in love with it, I feel accomplishment, pride, and my self worth grows. I create the kits to provide you with opportunities to feel that pride, joy, achievement, and create your positive energy flow. This feather design is more than art; its a way for you to connect with your Creator and your self so you can learn who you are just as I did.
